Our widespread hotel and restaurant is located within the old town of Albe in the archaeological area of Alba Fucens. The village was a fief and owned by the Orsini family (14th century) who built the castle in a dominant position on Lake Fucino. The manor remained intact until the Marsica earthquake of 1915, when it was severely damaged and abandoned together with the town. Albe was then rebuilt further down the slopes of the hill, and has now come back to life with the introduction of various activities as well as an access road to the castle ruins and the medieval old town.
Our hotel
We have 12 rooms available at our hotel that have been created through renovating some residences. The restaurant is also located in the old town, and includes two rooms for daily use and another three which can be used for events and ceremonies. We use local products in all our cooking.
Guided tours and excursions
Guests will be able to book guided tours to archaeological sites, medium and high-altitude mountain excursions, horseback riding or cycling, ski passes for the Ovindoli Monte Magnola ski resorts.
